Badger is taking poor advice from Pumpkin the cat. I believe Pumpkin tells him to jump up onto his kennel and then onto the breakfast bar. I caught him in the act. One should know not to trust cats(ha ha). He is learning that he is not a cat and I am learning to not allow Pumpkin up on the bar anymore. Training cats is no fun and darn near impossible. Badger is learning to live in harmony with the cats. Look, no fear of the training collar. Pepper has claimed him as a family member as he has begun to clean Badger now. Awww.
Him and Kinsey love to snuggle in the sun together. They even chew on bones and attempt to chew on tennis balls at the same time. We still kennel him at night. He goes right in without any problems. He does like to go into Copper's Kennel and rest throughout the day.
As far as walking, he still whines and is still quite a puller. He doesn't jump out at the cars anymore though. With a little work this guy could be a great family dog. Especially if your an active family. Catahoula's need a lot of exercise. The good news is, he'll keep you in shape!
