What a busy day Sully had. He went on his first walk with the other big dogs. I will post a picture in a minute. He just did the big loop with them. I was afraid he'd get too cold. He came back and had some one on one time with me. I combed him while he laid down. He laid on his back and didn't seem to mind being combed but preferred one side at a time. I had to roll him over to get the other side. It was pretty funny. I was surprised that not that much hair was stuck on the comb after a 20 minute "appointment." He loved being pampered.
Later in the afternoon I needed to pick up a book from my Aunt, "The Help." Off we went on a little car ride. He loves the car...jumps right in, smells a few things then makes himself cozy on the front seat. He even decided to take in the view by standing on his hind legs and leaning against the seat. He laid his head back on the seat after a few minutes. It was quite a funny site.
We got to my Aunt and Uncle's house and he acted like a perfect gentleman. I told them how he knows sit, his name, and come. I decided to try "down." Well, wouldn't you know, he knows that too. I'm thinking he knows a lot more but I'm not sure what the signals are. When I fed him later on when we got home he did a little dance, so I'm thinking he knows how to do that too. lol
What a great little guy. He is definitely not 15lbs. I'm going to weigh him right now while I'm thinking about it. Are you ready??? He is 11-12lbs on my scale.
One more thing I want to mention. He is great at taking a bath. The boys and I gave him a bath tonight as he is going in to get fixed tomorrow and can't have one for 10 days. He tolerated it very well and ran around crazy like dogs do, after. What a fun little guy.
