Everyone Loves Jenni!

It's true. She is such a sweetie. Totally potty trained which we all know I love and doesn't bark at night. Love my sleep. What can I say? She will go to the door when she needs to go out. She goes into her kennel very nicely too. I think she is becoming quite comfortable here because she is playing more and more. Her tail is almost always wagging. What a happy girl.

We were concerned a little when she first arrived because she wasn't eating much at all. Julie, bless her heart, made her a gourmet meal of chicken and rice. Well, I mixed it with some kibble and do you know she picked out the chicken? So this morning I tried some more chicken and rice and kibble combo. Thanks to my good friend Sandie, she ate it all up. All Sandie had to do was tap on the bowl every once and a while. She also had the great idea of putting some warm water into the bowl. So I did that and mixed it with a plastic fork. I thought for kicks I would tempt her by feeding her with a fork. She loved that. I thought, "This dog is just spoiled. That's why she wouldn't eat. No one was feeding her...well yes by hand but not by fork." lol So I have two names for her...Princess Jenni and Cassidy...Hop-a-long Cassidy that is. She hops around with her back legs. I guess basset hounds do this. I've never had a basset so I wouldn't know.

Well, I better go polish my silver platter for Princess Jenni for breakfast tomorrow. Spoiling she wants...spoiling she'll get. haha

Thanks for reading and see you tomorrow.

  1. I also talked to Jenni about her unhealthy desire to try to get rid of that baby weight too fast and how it's super important for her to lose the weight slowly and gradually while eating a healthy diet! (It was my pleasure to help out!)

  2. I love Jenni too. So happy for her she is staying with you and getting lots of personal attention. She has given so much to her babies and now it is time for her to soak it in. She deserves it.
