Ricky is such a sweet puppy. I can't get over how soft he is. He loves to be pet and rubbed. My kids are having a great time with him. They like to play with him on the floor and think it is so funny how he gives them so many kisses. He definitely thinks he's a lap dog too. He will jump into our laps and collapse. He was even watching tv last night. It was so funny. We were watching a program about sled dogs in Alaska. He started growling a little and then barked as he cocked his head. Then he jumped down off the couch and went up to the tv. He didn't jump at it. Just looked. He heard more barking and found where it was coming from. Smart boy. He's also the only fluffy dog I've had that has figured out the stairs. I went downstairs to get some boxes. He was whining and wondering how he could get to where I was. It didn't take him long and he was right beside me.
He has also been great with the cats. He will just go up and smell them and then walk away. Our cat, Pumpkin even walked across him last night while he was relaxing next to my son on the couch. He didn't even stir. Later he picked his head up and saw there was a cat laying next to him. He sniffed, then laid back down.
We are working on potty training though. I try to take him out every two hours or so. He is very good when it comes to putting the leash line on. He sits and waits and I don't even have to ask him to. Then when he comes back in, he will sit and wait for me to take it off. Wow. Very calm. He is just like that when I feed him too but sometimes I do have to ask him to sit. He will right away and wait. Not like my one other dog who has jumped and knocked the bowl from my hands. grr. He is a wonderful dog and will make some family very happy. Maybe that family is you. :)
