Badger is such a lover. He will flop down next to you and just loves his belly to be rubbed. He had a nice long walk today so he was more willing to rest a bit. He is definitely a high energy dog. He prefers me to move around the house so he can follow where as my other fosters would just get settled and I'd start walking from room to room. We've only had him 3 days and already he is showing improvement. I think he's just a really smart dog that needs something to do a lot of the time. Moving fluffy objects don't help of course. He's learning though. Nothing is impossible, right? He's even seemed to calm down a bit in the backyard when he hears cars. I was really hoping to take him to the dog park tomorrow but son #2 has a fever and will stay home from school again tomorrow. Oh yeah, Badger is great with kids. He flops down next to them too for belly rubs. He really is a sweet dog that just needs some work. Exercise is a must with all dogs but especially this guy. He is still a puppy don't forget.
I have to thank my husband because he is really working hard with Badger. I'm so happy and proud. Little dogs just aren't his thing and that is fine. Honestly they weren't mine either until I had one in my home. I absolutely fell in love with my first foster, Carmello as all of my friends will tell you. They fell in love with him too. I love big dogs but little dogs rock too. Enjoy the pictures and thanks again for thinking rescue. These dogs are a different breed altogether and show you in so many ways how. Rescue dogs ROCK!!!!
