Snow Storm of 2/11
We are having a great time here at the Funny Farm. Yesterday afternoon the snow only came up to Jenni's belly and Kinsey's knees. The two bff's had a great time chasing around and loping through the somewhat deep snow. I say bff's because they run and play a lot together. They both have advantages over the other one. Kinsey is tall and can get in a few good nibbles to Jenni's head and back. Plus completely jump over her when needed. Jenni on the other hand uses her height, or lack there of and goes right for the legs. Taking Kinsey out at the knees. I will have to post a video of it because it is quite comical.
Jenni seems to not mind the snow at all and loves to bury her little(or not so little) nose in deep and dig for treasure. When she comes up for air her nose usually has a mound of snow on top. So adorable!
She even discovered the dog house isn't that bad and can be great shelter from those cold and gusty winds.
So if you are looking for a great friend to go snowshoeing with...here's your gal. She isn't afraid of the elements and won't wander too far. Plus she's a great snuggler and really won't take up that much space at the end of your bed at night. Just ask my oldest son. She doesn't mind cats but will bark and chase them if they run. She's becoming the cat watcher over here. She positions herself overlooking the basement stairs just watching and hoping a feline friend/foe comes up from the depths. The cats have figured out that she is "all bark and no bite." One even will sit and just wait for her to get her bark done and then walk away ever so slowly.
